Automated DNA sequencer
The DNA sequencing facility is part of the core facility in the ground floor. The fully automated ABI 3130 genetic analyzer is a four- capillary (upgradable upto 16 capillaries) instrument with acquisition and operation tailored to a growing research lab.

In addition to DNA sequencing, the 3130 Genetic Analyzer supports a variety of applications including comparative sequencing, DNA fragment analysis, and genotyping.

The ABI 7500 Real-Time PCR offers enhanced performance capabilities and high speed thermal cycling. The variable excitation and five-color detection enables use of broad range of fluorophores.
