CELL CULTURE FACILITY
A centralized Cell Culture Facility is housed within a self-enclosed suite. This facility includes laminar flow hoods for sterile handling of cells, Jacketed CO2 incubators for maintenance of cells at normal and hypoxic conditions and a inverted phase contrast microscope for cell analysis. The facility also provides liquid nitrogen storage units for a cell repository. Other equipment include a Class II Biosafety cabinet Model NU430-400E with a virus burn out system, a fridge, freezer, water bath and centrifuges.
